Legal Question in Business Law in Pennsylvania
Am I violating people's privacy?
I would like to start a business as a private investigator, Is there any circumstance where I would be violating people's privacy if I am following them around and videotaping their actions as requested by the party that hired me? For example a spouse who suspects another of cheating?

In order to become a Private Investigator in NJ you must obtain a License from the State Police. You are required to have 5 years' investigative experience, fill a complete background application, obtain references and post a bond. The process is complex and you should obtain legal counsel.
