Legal Question in Business Law in Pennsylvania
Hi this weekend I competed in the Virgin Gaming Madden Challenge Championships in NYC. Richard Branson owns Virgin Gaming, the rules/terms for the tournament were signed off on by each player and they were posted online. It clearly stated the tourny (which was for a million dollars) would be a SINGLE elimination tournament. The maximum number of players was 512, but they accepted more than that so to even out the bracket they decided on spot to let certain first round losers back into the tournament. They had a "raffle" to decide who would get back into the tournament. The players chosen from the raffle went straight into the 3rd round (which is for 1500 dollars). So some first round losers who were supposed to be out got to skip the second round and go straight to the third. The eventual winner of the tournament lost in the first round and got put back into the third round. People traveled across the world for this event and I can't believe that they'd be able to change it up on the spot like that when the rules were clearly stated and each player signed those papers

You should probably consult with an attorney licensed in NY, as this is where any wrongful actions took place. Also you should try to enlist some other victims to fight with you.
