Legal Question in Business Law in Pennsylvania
Can X Employer give bad refrence?
I applied for a job, and when I went to the interview, I was asked why my x employer told them not to hire me under any circumstance. I was not fired from my previous job, I quit. The interview told me that he has to think the worst since, thats all they said. I never got into any trouble at my previous job. Can they say things like that to potential employers with out any evidence? I cant get a job, with references like that. What can I do?

Contact an employment law attorney in your area. Your county bar association should have names of attorneys in different practice areas.
