Attorney and juidicial malfeasance

I am wondering if someone could advise me as to recourse in the following situation:

A sixty year old man with no prior convictions was arrested for intent to distribute cocaine. The case dragged on for four years and several postponements. At a hearing in late Feb he was instructed to turn himself in on March 18th for sentencing. His attorney did not show up that morning. The man was taken into custody and infomred that his sentencing would take place in two months; in the meantime he is incarcerated in Graterford prison in Pa. The attorney has not returned multiple calls made by the man's family. Can anyone advise as to whether or not the lawyer and/or the court have violated the defendent's rights to representation and swift sentencing, or any other civil rights? If so, what recourse does the man have, and what action can be taken? Thank you.

something you have written is incorrect. there is no way he could have been sent to graterford based on the facts as stated above. it is illegal. [email protected] 215.825.5183
