Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Pennsylvania
Hi, my name is Brian. I'm 18 and a resident of Philadelphia, PA. I was wondering:
Is it legal to speak through a megaphone in public places, and if so, are there any restrictions?
This would not be a protest and would not be addressing anyone or any group in particular. It is basically a speech through a megaphone.

You might need some kind of permit. You also will not want to run afoul of any noise ordinances. I would check out the noise and permitting requirements and make sure that you comply so that you do not get arrested and charged criminally.
