Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Pennsylvania

College/University training

My question does not relate to a law. My question is more of a personal experience. I am a junior in high school and Civil Liberties is an area I am very interested in. I am hoping to work for the ACLU someday. I was wondering what is a good area to major in before going to law school to prepare myself for civil liberties law. I do not want to major in pre-law, however, just in case I decide not to go into the law field. I figure a pre-law degree would be quite useless to anyone who is not going to law school for sure. Thanks for your help!
