Good morning, Matt,

I qam sorry to hear of the difficult situation in which you have been placed.

If you were ordered by the Judge to make installment payments, and you have been making these payments on time, then the parole officer cannot impose additional requirements on you, including raising the amount of each payment.

If the Judge did not write it into his Order that you are allowed to make installment payments, then you should have an Attorney (including the Public Defender, if you cannot afford a private Attorney) file a Petition on your behalf with the Court and get the Judge to sign an Order which would set forth the amount of each installment payment that you are required to pay. If you keep up with the installment payments that the new Order states, then your parole officer cannot compel you to pay the full amount or pay more than the amount indicated on the Judge's Order.

Kindest Regards,

ANDREA G. TILLIS
