Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Pennsylvania

husband just filed for divorce on grounds of irretrievably broken marriage. It also states to use this term had to be separated for 2 years we just separated. How can he file this way?

Many time alternate grounds of divorce are inserted in a divorce complaint. In the event the divorce is not concluded in a timely manner. he can then proced on the two year no fault basis once the two years has passed without amending the complaint.
