Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Pennsylvania
improper conduct police and DA
do I have a case? my son 19yo was in jail for having sex with his 15yo g/f. my brother in law, a Pa state trooper had a snitch put in my sons cell. trooper was angry with me as I took him to court for taking 2 guns from my home w/o paying for them or returning. he had stated to my other son, he and his boys were going to do everything they could to keep my son in jail. this snitch trapped my son, told the cops my son wanted to kill his uncle and the arresting officer. the snitch was wired. the snitch and my son had the same attorney. the attorney was not informed of the above. my son was charged with conspiracy to commit murder on 2 counts. this cost me over 50,000. my son was found not guilty at trial. the whole process involved the PSP and the DA office w/o any communication with the attorney. at one point the attorney dropped my son as a client because of this. the attorney said he would report this to the disciplinary board but did not. the 1st atttorney was dismissed from the law firm and other attorney rep us. I have extensive documentation as I developed a relationship with the snitch via phone. the snitch has long history of mental illness. I had also spoken with the snitches mom on many occasions.all prior to the charge

I don't think there is a civil case here. Regardless of the motivation of the state police, it sounds as if there was a basis to prosecute.
