Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Pennsylvania
Landlord/tenants
My Wife and Myself Lease expires on May 31, 2002, and my Landlord wants too show our apartment too other peopl. We were never given a notice from our Landlord stating that, but he claims he did.
I would like too know if it is legal for him just too show up unexpectingly.
Also would like too know if I have the right too let him in, and the people when they come too look at our apartment.
One more thing, I would like too know if it is Legal for our Landlord too just walk into our apartment when we are not home too show other people.
And if it is not I would like too know if I can call the Police on him for illegaly Tresspassing.
If you could please e-mail, and get back too us we would more than greatly appreciate it.

Re: Landlord/tenants
It is never legal for your landlord to enter your apartment when you are not present without your prior permission.
Whether or not he can show prospective new tenants the apartment by prior appointment with you will be covered by the lease provisions, more than likely. Such a provision benefiting the landlord is not uncommon.
