Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Pennsylvania

Lending money with no proof

Well, I have a friend who I've lend alot of money to in a period of several years. the reason I gave him this money was so that he could find me a girlfriend. He never came threw and told me he never tried to find me a girlfriend and that he used me to get some stuff he wanted. My sister wants to call the cops on him. but I have no writtin documentation of me ever givin him the money. Can I do something to win my money back?

You can file a civil action in the District Court in the district where he lives. You can hire a lawyer, but you are not required to have one. You tell your side of the story and he tells his. The judge will make a decision. Its fairly simple, quick and inexpensive. If you lose you can appeal to the Court of Common Pleas but it is more expensive and difficult without a lawyer.
