pennsylvania state discriminates and harrasses after case is dismissed

My husband was arrested for a fire arm going off on my 2 acre property in july 2007 it was merely an accident but 4 days later by mail i was arrested but never processed but charged with 25,00 bail like my husband. we were put on an illegal no contact provision when ther were no charges being pressed by anyone no witnesses and i was kept away from my husband for 3 months now that the case has been thrown out after 30,000 dollars in attorney fees i paid and 50,000 dollars in bail. I have recewntly been told to come down to the state police station so i can give them my finger prints. I want to know why they would want my prints after i was dismissed? Myhusband and I work in NYC for ABC news and have contacted the ACLU as well as civil attorneys I would like to know if someone can contact me to hear our story I am in contact today with someone at the pocono record and the NY post to try and get my story in the press.

i am court right now so i can't call right now. i can call you later or you can call me at 215.825.5183. Usually, after a case is dismissed, if you can show any equities at all in the discharge of your case, you can get an expungement. In an expungement order, the Pennsylvania State Police must destroy all records of the charges, arrest, and finger prints from the case. Regardless of the circumstance, they must follow this and they do not have standing go to court to object to the expungement order, only the DA can do this. If they are really harassing you badly, we could file an expugnement petition to stay the finger printing until after a judge rules on the expugnement petition. Obviously, if you lose the expungement petition, you will have to get finger printed. To review the expungement proceedings, we have to do that over the phone.
