Truth is always a defense to a defamation action. However, before you post this, ask yourself whether you want to be on the receiving end of a defamation lawsuit. Even if you can prove the truth of what is asserted, do you still want to go to the trouble and expense of hiring a lawyer to defend yourself if sued?

And before you post, also need to do some soul-searching here. Even if the fact is true, why do you want to post it? What benefit is likely to come from posting true but hurtful information? Who will care? Who will be helped? Hurt? Why do you feel compelled to post it?

Life is tough enough. Unless you have money to burn on lawyers don't make life tougher for anybody else or yourself. It just ain't worth it. And I don't see how airing negative information about somebody else is going to benefit anyone here.

Just my opinion - this is not legal advice. If you really want to go ahead, then I suggest that you find a civil litigation lawyer who is very familiar with defamation and pay him/her to review what you intend to post first to make sure that there is nothing defamatory.
