Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Pennsylvania
public school uniforms
is it legal for a public school district to enact a strict school dress policy? also, the school district will penalize students who do not comply by in school detention for the first offense to suspension for third offense?is this not a violation of our rights as parents as well as students. i thought in america every child was given the chance at an education and could not be sent away do to their clothes. this seems like an outrage to personal freedoms and the school board just rolls their eyes.

Are they requiring uniforms, or do they just have a restrictive dress code?
