Can I request a transcript of a 911 call I made?

I wish to receive a transcript of a 911 call that I placed from my cell phone. How do I go about doing that, or does the request need to go through an attorney?

Depends upon the purpose of the request. If you have a case pending where the tape may be relevant, you can subpoena it. What is the reason for the request?
