Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Pennsylvania
Wedding Cancelled
My finace and I were to get married November 3rd in St. Thomas onboard a cruise ship. I paid for the cruise as well as the wedding and rings and all extras( invitation, dj, giveaways for guest) The groom decided last minute he was unsure of whether or not he wanted to marry, already knowing everything was paid for. I cancelled the wedding because I had no way of telling if he was going or not. I am out of his share of the cruise and well as the ceremony and reception money. Do I have any legal stand on this. He did sign the marriage license application which was mailed to St. Thomas. Do I have a case?

Re: Wedding Cancelled
What was the agreement as to who was to pay for the rings, trips, etc.? If this was to be your wedding gift to him, then you have no recourse.
