When asked to design a logo for a company who owns it and has the right to copyr
I was contracted to design a logo and website for a local company. They fired me without notice(changed all passwords, disallowing me access to udate the site) And now they're saying that it all belongs to them, The Logo, Website and any images I have greated to use on the site. Any research I have done indicates that all work belongs to me, but I'm still a bit fuzzy. Who does the rights belong to and what should I do?

your contract with the company should spell out the rights of all involved. If you were an independent contractor and not paid for you r work, you own it
