Compact Disk Copying Question

I am buying a homemade cd off of ebay of a concert and once i get it i wanted to make my own copies of it and sell my ow version of i is this legal?

It couldn't possibly be legal. The ebay seller is committing a copyright violation and you would be too.

Even groups like the Grateful Dead, which permitted tapers at concerts, only allowed trading the tapes, not selling for profit.
