DPW, Do they have the right?

The DPW filed a complaint for child support against my son's father who is in a Fed. Correction Inst.Fear for our safty, through the court I have had his rights suspended indefinately. Can they legally file? also legally using me as the plaintiff and fileing with out my knowing and without my concent? please email me.

Unfortunately, when one has received public assistance, the agency has the right to attempt to collect the amounts they have paid from the parent who has support responsibility. They are "subrogated" to your right to child support, and can therefore sue in your name without your permission.

Complain anyway.
