Legal Question in Constitutional Law in Pennsylvania

Separation of Church and state

I have a small group of gifted students and we volunteered to help a church youth group plan and organize a golf outing. Concerns over the conflict of separation have been raised. Is this really an issue?

Re: Separation of Church and state

Are the gifted children profoundly challenged folks having a rare nice day or high-IQ rich kids whose outing at an expensive country club is being papered-up?

Any constitutional analysis is only required in the case of state action. Are you a state school? Are you a State Employee?

There must be an analysis to see if the "state action" amounts to an ENTANGLEMENT.

Unless you are using exhorbitant state funds I would hazard that the activity is well below the need for Constitutional concern.

Good Luck, and thank you for your kindness to the gifted.
