Depends on what he is soliciting. Lawyers can't do that because of the rules of professional conduct. Somehow I doubt that applies to Disc Jockeys. Now if the bar owner is saying he can't do this because there is some clause in his contract that doesn't allow him to compete against this bar maybe. Then again the bar owner said it was illegal. The question to ask the bar owner is what part of the statute would you boyfriend be violating.
