Legal Question in Construction Law in Pennsylvania
bussiness
I hired a company to install kitchen cabinets. I repeatedly asked if the cabinets were all wood.. The sign on the front of the store said ''All wood cabinets''. I was assured they would be all wood. I also thought the price quoted was for all wood cabinets. After the installers finished the job I noticed that the insides of the cabinets were particle board. I am upset and want to know if I can be compensated for the difference between the wood and particle board? No where on the contract does it say particle board.

Re: bussiness
The problem as I see it is that "all wood" is different than "solid wood." Particle board, after all, is made of wood.
A lot would depend upon the contract language, as well as the conversations you may have had with the sales person. Not to mention whether or not you looked at sample cabinets when picking out what you wanted.
