Legal Question in Construction Law in Pennsylvania
Signed contract for price, invoice different than contract
We signed a contract for a specific price for a heat pump/central air unit. The invoice came with an amount $800.00 more than the signed contract. Do we have to pay the additional amount? We did not receive any change order or anything stating why the difference in price.

Re: Signed contract for price, invoice different than contract
Well, my first question would be, what are you not telling me? What's the additional $800 for?
If there was no unforeseen work, then no, you don't owe the $800. If there was, then more details are necessary.
