Legal Question in Construction Law in Pennsylvania
my sons girlfriends mom wanted me to tear some panneling down and put up drywall for her, but than she remembered she signed a contract with someone 2 months ago, she said that theres nothing saying how long the contract is good for. can she decide to go with me so i can save her some money ? would the contract only be good for 30 days ?

Tell her to cancel the contract, saying they failed to do the work promptly, and demand any deposit back immediately. If they did any work, they are entitled to payment in a reasonable amount for the work done, but if they did not do the work timely, she can terminate them.
