Legal Question in Consumer Law in Pennsylvania
auto loan
I know it way to late but there were errors on the auto loan I got last nov 2006. with my cosigner and the life and disability I realize I should have been more careful in going over the contract but everyone was in a hurry to get it done and over with the errors or the way the contract was set up is not the way it was interputed as far the cosinger, it was the bank who brought to our attentin that the car dealer had put my aunt first on the loan and me as co-buyer what happens if anything happens to one of us as far as the estates go. she lives in florida I live in PA my wife is not on the loan at all. I asked foe life and disabilty and now I find out I have only disabilty and no life. the dealer says he cant re-finance theres nothing he can do I have bad credit. what can I do to get the dealer to remedy the mistakes if any.

Re: auto loan
I am not following you. I think that you are saying that when you financed your car you also bought disability insurance. And you wanted to buy life insurance but it was not included. If this is the case why not out and buy a separate life insurance policy?
You also have concerned over the title of the car. You bought the car with your aunt. Her name and your name are on the title and you want to know if there will be problems with that? There shouldn't be. It is possible that you and your aunt hold the car's title jointly with right of survivorship. This means that if you die or she dies the title of the car passes to the other. If you want to hold the car out right have her convey the title of the car to you. She would still be responsible if you defaulted on the loan though.
