i hope i have the right place. i had a carfor four years. got behind in rwo payments due to unfor seen things.wqs sent aletter stateing that my car was up for repo. for $1,109 i did not owe but $700.00 on the 4th of oct. i sent them the 700.00 my next payment was due on the 7th of oct. so therefore i did not owe them but $350.00 and the day i sent them the money, that they got on the same day in a money gram. that night they took my car with all my possesion in it and did not return it and of this day they have not returned my handicap licence plate or my owners card.

You asked about repossession.

First off, you can prevent a repo by agreeing to pay up on the spot in full. In the manner you dealt with it the bank was probably within its right to repo but an attorney would need to take a closer look to tell.

In PA you have a very limited time to reclaim possessions after a repo, I believe it is ten days. You must do so in person. Report your handicap plate as stolen if it is not returned. The repo company has no duty to return it (unless you go there in person) but neither may they keep it (I will leave it up to you to guess what has happened to it). If you stop by the repo lot you may be able to still reclaim your possessions (or even bail out the car if you can pay up in full).
