Legal Question in Consumer Law in Pennsylvania
used car return
My daughter purchased a used car today, and as she drove it home she discovered some problems which she hadn't been informed of. Does she have any recourse?

Re: used car return
She does have a remedy. The law realizes that the seller may have honestly not known of those defects, or they may have just surfaced during the selling period, but it also wants to protect the buyer with a reasonable warranty. In any event, unless the seller conspicuosly sold the car 'as is', she will have a warranty which will require the seller to fix those defects. She will not be able to return the car and get her money back. If the seller refuses to fix the car, you will need to take legal action.
