Legal Question in Consumer Law in Pennsylvania
Care of horse
We board our horse at a farm. A new owner took over. The horse was injuried due to poor care. The horse was overdosed with medication causing more injury. As a result this horse was sick for 6 months and unable to be ridden or shown at horse shows. Vet bills were about 1000.00. Loss of use for at least 6months and now needs more trining due to this injury. In addition this horse may never be the same and suffer pernment damage. This is a 20,000.00 throughbred, blood line of Seatle Slew. Can I sue for loss of use vet bills etc?

Re: Care of horse
There may be potential claims. But you'll need an attorney with knowledge in the area of animal care as well as consumer issues. A local large animal vet or other horse folks would be best able to direct you to the proper attorney.
