I was hired for a job and then a consumer report was performed and i was told the job offer was rescinded based on there screening process performed by a third party agency when I asked for a copy of the report I was told they dont give that information out and when I asked if there was anything i could do to fix this they told me there was nothing i could do I wasnt able to dispute anything.

If you had a firm offer, you may be able to recover any damages that you incurred because of changing your position based on that offer. If you had a written contract, you have a damage claim for breach of contract.
Depending on how you feel about the situation and how much it is worth to you to find out what happened, you might file a defamation suit against the entitly that reported the information (even if they are now unknown). That would allow your lawyer to subpoena evidence and to depose witnesses at the company making the offer to you so you can find out what was said and by whom. Don't expect to make money from such a suit. Likely you will only get information that may or may not be of use to you.
