deposit to hold a car
I put a $100 deposit to hold a car until I could get the rest of the money. The person selling the car gave me a receipt saying he would hold the car until Saturday at 4:00. He sold the car to another party after the deadline because I could not get the money until Monday. Does he have to give my deposit back?

I'd say yess, unless it says the deposit is non-refundable.
