Legal Question in Consumer Law in Pennsylvania
Drinking
how is it that you area able to join the army at the age of 18, let me say again in different words, how is it that an 18 year old could possibly die serving his country, but, that same 18 year old can't enjoy an alcoholic beverage legally? how does that work?

Re: Drinking
This is a political question, not a legal one. When I was 18, a young man could be DRAFTED (we don't have a draft now), die for his country, not get a legal drink, and not even be able to VOTE!
Now, the voting age is 18, so young people who wish to change the drinking age can take political action. But legally speaking, drinking, like driving, is a privilege and not a right.
