Legal Question in Consumer Law in Pennsylvania

If I can't find a company on the BBB and when looking up the address does not list the company name and they are offering me a loan and have suggested I have an attorney, more than one, look over the documents and documents state to do so as well...should I believe this is a scam?

Could be. But there are other reasons. One - they might have another name or the company could be too new to develop a report. Don't just try the BBB though. Try doing a search on the company and "scam" or "complaint.' Try www.ripoffreport.com as well.

What kind of loan is this? Not a payday loan I hope. Are they outside the US? Is there any kind of non-refundable application fee. These are also bad signs or red flags that you should stay away.

Do you have any loan documents? If so, have me or another lawyer take a look at them before you sign and get the money.
