Legal Question in Consumer Law in Pennsylvania

Laws Governing Estimates and Actual Cost of a job.

I received an estimate on concrete work which

told me that I would be charged a specific amount

per ''linear foot'' of concrete. I specifically asked

what the definition of a linear foot was and was

told the actual measurement of lenth. The work

was done and I was then billed for square feet of

concrete on two of three items instead of linear

feet as I was told. The bill is almost double of

what I was originally told it would be. do I have

any legal recourse in this situation? Thanks.

Is the estimate written. What does the contract state. Why was the cost higher regardless of the meausrement unit the value of supplies does not change.

If your estimate was in writing you may have grounds to pay the lower amount. There are to many unanswered questions.
