leased vehicle excess wear charges
i returned lease vehicle at end of lease with no damage.i took pictures while salesman at dealership did walk around inspection. vehicle sat at dealership for 1 month before the third party inspection.However,Gn'l Mgr at dealership told me vehicle went to auction next business day after drop off.GMAC is assessing me $600 for rearend damage.I told them I have date stamped pictures showing rearend they say was damaged. They told me I had to go back to dealership and get them to pay. What rights do I have to dispute.

You asked about getting screwed by a lessor.
Geez, give them a couple of billion of your hard-earned dollars and they still want more.
Their assertion of damage is irrelevant. If there is a claim they can make that claim formally and prove it. You left that car with their representative and your responsibility ended there. It seems you did all you needed to do to protect your interest. If they bring a claim or even if they report it as an outstanding debt then they open themselves up to various claims.
