Part 2: is it legal?
Thank u for answering so soon, but I should've mentioned that the product ordered comes frm. Pa. & shipped to Fl. Does that make a difference or is the answer the same no matter what state it comes frm?

Typically, there is no sales tax at all due when ordered from another state. There is technically a use tax due in Florida by the purchaser, but no one ever seems to pay that for small items and the state does not enforce it, so the item goes "untaxed." That is what happens when you order a book from Amazon, for instance, or a song from iTunes. That is something likely to change in the comming years as state governments look for new sources of revenue.
