Legal Question in Consumer Law in Pennsylvania

Poor Work

I built a new home 2 years ago. After about 6 months our tile shower began to leak. We called the tile guy back and it was decided that he needed to replace the shower pan as it was leaking. Now a year later its leaking again. After reviewing some other web sites I found out hes not installing it correctly. As this point we do not want him to give it a third try. I would prefer some type of settlement. What are my options? The cost to repair this is about $1,800.

Re: Poor Work

You have many options. Have you told the tile guy about the second leak? I'd talk to him about it and see if he would agree to sending you the cash to get another person to repair it. If not then you can decide on whether or not you want to hire an attorney and proceed to litigation. I or any of the other attorneys that post here would be happy to help you for a fee.
