Legal Question in Consumer Law in Pennsylvania
refusal to pay bill for overcharged services
A pool company closed my pool . I was told it would be $200 and about $50 for chemicals. The bill came to 367.90. When I called the woman said sorry if I felt misleaded and she would speak to her son. Now I have a bill for 390.60 and a threat of charges for theft because they said they contacted the local police. Should I just pay the 367.90 just to end this. I definitely don't want to pay the administrative charges added on without notice.

Either pay or take them to small claims court.
