Legal Question in Consumer Law in Pennsylvania
Sewage Authority Right to Charge
I own a rental property. It is 1 bulding and at one time there were 3 apartments in it. I elimated 1 apt. and made 2 larger apts. The Sewage Authority refuses to quit charging me for the third apartment. They said since it used to be there they can still charge me. Is that true and if so is there any way to get it changed. They charge $30.00 per month per unit.
