Legal Question in Consumer Law in Pennsylvania
We are a small strip store business that just had our Phila Gas Work meter removed. We were told that there was a magnet on it and that they had found one on it back in 11/10/09. All 5 gas meters are lined up together for all the stores. Ours is closest to the pizza shop as we now find out (he is the newest tenant). We have been in this store over 10 years. We are without heat and being accused of something that we did not do, and do not know how to prove it. We are so frustrated that someone put us in this situation. I want to go into his store, even though his store is the only store that is constantly with the owner present, but my husband says how can you accuse him. At present our store has no heat and we are on the cutting block. I told PGW look at our paying history and check who is having problems but I do not think they care.
Thank you,

I am not sure what is going on here but it sounds like you may need someone to contact PGW to findout the situation. I would advise you speak to an attorney to discuss your case and see what action may be available to you.
