Stopped Payment Check for Services Rendered
Client redeemed services at Hair Salon and paid by check. Several days later, this client called unsatisfied. Although we offered to correct the problem immediately. She declined the appointments offered, then received her check returned with stopped payment. What can I do about this?

Re: Stopped Payment Check for Services Rendered
It depends. Personally I would call the police and charge her with theft of services.
Better bet is to take the matter to small claims court. Request that she make good on the check and pay an amount for collections and court costs.
You'd need to send here a demand letter before follwoing the latter.
