Legal Question in Consumer Law in Pennsylvania

Trial offer terms and conditions

I recently completed two offers to try out a product. Now, according to their terms and conditions it says you must return the product within 30 days to receive a refund. When I called to cancel the trial membership, returning the product was never mentioned by the customer service associate. Having read the terms I assertively asked if I needed to return the product. She said no, you can keep it. So I did. 13 days later I was charged $77.90 to my credit card. When I received my credit card statement (after the 30 days were up), I saw the charges and immediately called to question the charges. The customer service associate called me names, questioned my education, and accused me of scamming them. They ''black listed'' me from the site and said never to try their product again .. and hung up on me. Do I have a valid case here to get a refund? Also getting technical, the terms say I have 30 days to return the product. It doesn't state wheter they are business days or calender days. Can I assume business days? Maybe that is getting technical, but if the terms don't say calendar is that open to interpretation?

Re: Trial offer terms and conditions

You asked about a trial offer.

30 days is always calendar days. No argument possible there.

This is a common scam and you can possibly try a chargeback through you credit card provider.
