They Took My TV
I contacted a Tv repair shop to fix my Tv.I talk with them over the phone. They told me that it would be $50 to come out but the fee would be waived if I let them fix it. When they came out they told me it would be $400 + to fix it without looking at the tv. then he told me I had to give him a $100 deposit. I told him they didn't say anything about a deposit over the phone. I told him I didn't have any money and he said he had to take my TV. He told his partner to take it out the house I was not sure what to do. He took my TV and didn't give me any paper work now he is threating to sell my Tv if I don't pay What do I do And can he do that.

Re: They Took My TV
Let me get this straight....you called a repair man to come fix your tv, they told you it would cost you money...then when they arrived you told them you didn't have any money....so they took your TV.....it sounds to me that you either have buyer's remorse or you're lying. I find it difficult to believe that you let someone into your house and then let them leave with your tv if you didn't hire them to do the work.
In other words, if they stole your tv call the police. If you hired them to fix the TV you will need to compensate them for their services. And if you did retain them, why didn't you demand a receipt....your question sounds simply unbelievable.
