Legal Question in Consumer Law in Pennsylvania
wedding pics
on sept 30,2006 had wedding pics taken at my daughters wedding.as of 1/2/2007 still havent received the pictures.after several unattempted tries of contacting photographer finally got in touch with her. she said they're not back yet. is that too long of a time to wait for pics? last time talk to her was a few weeks ago . she said SHE WOULD CALL when they came in. can i go to a magistrate and file a judgement or something to try and get my pics? they are and have been paid for.thank you

Re: wedding pics
Anything over two months is excessive, especially considering most photographers use digital cameras. Draft a letter to the photographer, requesting the pictures be finished by an affirmative date (say two more weeks). In the event, the photographer doesn't send you the pictures by this date, you could then proceed with a civil suit against them. Remember, to document any and all correspondences or discussions between yourself and the photographer...best of luck. If you decide to pursue litigation, please feel free to contact my office for more information.
