Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Pennsylvania
The 34 year old man I was dating got me pregnant and strongly encouraged me to have an abortion. I am 19. I wanted to have the child and raise it, but he assured me that he would make this very difficult for me and would in no way support me. With his persistence, I got an abortion which cost 505.00 dollars that he agreed to pay me back for, but I put on my debit card. Now he refuses to talk to me or acknowledge that the child was even his to begin with. Is there any way I can get him to pay back what he owes me?

Is he in Pennsylvania? You can try suing him in small claims court. I have no idea what a judge will do however. We know that you were pregnant and had an abortion, but unless you had some kind of evidence in which he acknowledged the debt and that he would pay, I don't see how you are going to enforce this.
I am sorry that you were misled by this guy. What he told you was incorrect. If you had kept the child, he haed a legal duty to support the child whether he wanted to do so or not. I think he has not only used you for sex, but made you get an abortion and made you pay for it. I hope you have seen the last of him.
