This sounds like either a payday lender or a scam.
Never mind how they got your SSN. There are ways if this was a legitimate lender.
However, lawsuits are not commenced via email. Nor does any creditor have the right to discuss your debts with third-parties, like your employer, under the PA Fair Credit Extension Uniformity Act.
This makes no sense about a judgment being entered after a case is downloaded. Cases are not downloaded. If you are sued, a complaint is filed and served on you by the sheriff or certified mail. If there is a case and you really did owe money, then a judgment may be entered. Whether a creditor can execute or not depends on what assets you have, how they are titled and if they are owned free and clear or not.
Chapter 19 section 9 makes no sense either. This tells me nothing. Unless they are referring to a PA law, citing numbers is done to intimidate you and by the looks of it I would say that the creditor is successful.
On the odd chance that this is a payday lender, please read my article at my website www.rachehunterlaw.com on payday loans in Pennsylvania.
Otherwise, this sounds awfully like a scam. If you are interested in me looking at this email, please forward it to me at [email protected].
