Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Pennsylvania

Authorized user on credit card

I was an Authorized user on Granny's credit card ( she had Alzheimers). She also allowed others to use the credit cards. She is now deceased and her credit card balances are showing on my credit report. I have no means of paying her debt. She had nothing when she died except the Social Security that she received monthly, of course that has stopped now. Am I responsible for paying? Who, how and what should i say to contact regarding this?

Re: Authorized user on credit card

Credit cared companies are legal criminals. Put EVERYTHING in writing. Immediately write to the card and tell them you NEVER signed any agreement to be responsible for granny's debt, and to remove the negative credit information or you will sue them for defamation of credit. Demand a written response to your letter withing 14 days, or you will contact the Attorney General's office and the Dept. of Banking and Insurance to report them for banking violations and reporting fraudulent credit information. Send it First Class and C.R.R. mail!!!!! Good luck.
