Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Pennsylvania

bill collections

I was wondering what the laws are on bill collectors...I live in the state of Pa and I find that they call every day....up until 8:30 at night..I thought they were only allowed to call until 8pm...and never on the weekends? thank you!

I don't think there is any hard and fast rule on weekend calls but they are not permitted to contact you before 8 a.m. or after 9 p.m. The particular law that you want to look at is called the Pennsylvania Fair Credit Extension Uniformity Act.
