Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Pennsylvania
billing chamges
I just recieved a bill from my credit card company for $309.99 from aol. I called to check this because i was on a 21.95 per month of unlimited use plan. I then found out my credit card company had paid the bill. When i contacted aol they said that i was a month behind on past billing in april and they wished to collect money so a notice email was sent to me and my billing was changed 3.00 and hour. Is it legal for them to change my billing and not contact me by other means? I never used the computer during april only my
children so i was not notified.

Re: billing chamges
You may have grounds to challenge this payment. You must notify your credit card in writing that this amount is disputed. After doing this in writing I suggest you call them. The bill should be held in abeyence until you have an opportunity to work this issue out with AOL. I suggest you may want to get a new internet service provider. Please consult an attorney as this advice is just for information purposes and no attorney client relationship has been established with my firm.
