Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Pennsylvania

Break-In Bond

We received a copy of Motion Seeking Leave to File a Break-In Bond from a law firm regarding a cc from our credit union. My husband is now disabled and receives SSDisability. Is there such a thing and could the court actually allow them to break in our home and just start taking things? Our credit was perfect until my husband became disabled because our income dropped dramatically and we can barely make payments on the things that we need that are important.I would appreciate any info I can get. Thanks for your time.

Re: Break-In Bond

If a levy on your personal property was attempted and you refused the sheriff entry, a creditor can make application for a break in bond. Your property will be levied and subject to sale. I suggest you consult legal counsel. You might want to file bankruptcy as this will stop all legal action against you including the break in and levy of your personal property.
