Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Pennsylvania

Business use of personal credit cards

I used personal credit cards for business use. The company was reimbursing me in full when they could and at least something if things were tight that month. The company went out of business, not bankruptcy just shut the doors. When this ocurred I still had substantial charges on 2 cards that were company related. What are my options? Thanks.

Re: Business use of personal credit cards

You will be able to file a civil lawsuit against the company and/or the owners of the company, depending upon how the company is set up. It would be helpful to know if this company was a corporation, or just operating under a fictitious name. Contact an attorney in your area to assist you with this. If the amount on your cards is substantial, this is worth pursuing.
